LE CHEVAL DANSANT

Le Cheval Dansant (or "Don" for short), is French for "The Dancing Horse".

"Don" is for sale.  You can find out more info on him at this web site, Dream Horse

If you have access to the Arabian Horse Association DataSource, click here for owner history, pedigree, and marking info.

"Don" is a Pure Bred Arabian. SIRE was JDM RAIN DANCE +//!  JDM Rain Dance is multi US NATIONAL and Canadian Champion.  "Don" has other famous Arabians in his pedigree: *BASK++, JDM RAIN DANCE+//, HUCKLEBEY BERRY+/, HUCKLEBERRY BEY++, BAY EL BEY++, etc.

Very affectionate and intelligent horse for intermediate to advanced rider. He has placed in several local shows. We simply don’t have the time to foster his show potential.

He is easy to handle – baths, grooms, clips (with electric razor), trailers, and lunges well. Has no problems with farrier. Ridden western on local trails with no issues. Current on all shots, Coggins negative, and regularly wormed

For more info, email me.

Here are some pictures (video files can be found below):

Standing

Picture of him out standing in the pasture. We didn't wash him before this, his coat is that shinning.

Head on

Close up of his head / face. He always comes up to the fence when you go outside!

Horse show on May 5, 2007 - 3rd in Halter

Local horse show on May 5, 07. He got 3rd in Halter and Liberty class.

English Tack

Picture of a friend of ours riding him in English Tack.

My two girls on Don

Don is fine around kids. I don't consider him a "kids" horse. I feel he needs an intermediate to advanced rider.

Video Files:

Western Tack -  Window Media File (. wmv file ~5MB in size) or  MPG format (.mpg file ~ 12MB in size)

English Tack -  Window Media File (.wmv file ~5MB in size) or  MPG format (.mpg file ~ 15MB in size)

Pivots on front legs and backs up -  Window Media File (.wmv file ~1.25MB in size) or  MPG format (. mpg file ~ 5MB in size)

Lunges -  Window Media File (.wmv file ~1MB in size) or  MPG format (.mpg file ~ 3.5MB in size)

** Note on video file formats.  The ".wmv", Windows Media File will be a bit higher in detail AND they are smaller.  BUT, you need MS Windows (or a Windows viewer) to view them.  The ".mpg" files can be viewed by most viewers, regardless of OS.  The drawback is they tend to be not as sharp and are much bigger.
